The success I have had truly comes from a deep desire to be the best I can be for everyone that I am blessed to serve in this business. The love and support I receive from friends and family give me energy to perform at a high level. And for my mentors, teachers and counselors who allow me to stand on their shoulders.
With success there is always sacrifice. Let me be real with you all for a moment. As my friend and follower, you see my happy posts, my success, and triumphs. 🤗
What you don’t see is the immense amount of energy and effort poured into my career. The sacrifices of family time to meet deadlines and work on my clients’ schedules. The sleepless nights worrying about my clients that need a fast sale so they will be financially ok. The amount of thought and genuine care I have for people forces me to go above and beyond to meet expectations. The vulnerability and emotional rollercoaster I’m on that my family sees. The endless technical skills I’ve acquired through “self-learning” multiple systems, website HTML coding, publisher, design, marketing, social media, MLS, Zillow, Zillow 360 tours, floor plans, photoshop, Showing Time, postcards, brochures, advertising, listing preparation, buyer preparation and open houses (I’m sure there’s way more I’m missing). The HOURS spent in classes to get my license, plus 132 HOURS for my BROKER license.
And last but MOST IMPORTANTLY, the expert legal acumen that is only learned through trials, mistakes, cancellations and the multitude of legal issues that arise from completing over 250 transactions across my 12-year career as a realtor and now Broker.
I’m humbled by this career. It’s a MAJOR hustle that requires dedication, diligence, STRONG emotional IQ and most of all strong family support and patience from my son and husband.
Thank you to my LOYAL clients, vendors, friends, and anyone who has given me advice or listened to my crazy real estate “war” stories along the way. And Tom Smith and Vivian Smith for seeing something in me 8 years ago that I didn’t see in myself yet. You are the real MVPs. 💖💖💖
